Presented by the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts, the festival will take place on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, near Faneuil Hall and the Boston Aquarium, on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event highlights local farms and locally owned food businesses, with the goal of supporting the local economy and promoting access to healthy food in urban communities.
Visitors can taste local produce, dairy, meat, seafood, prepared foods and beverages and will have the chance to talk with area farmers, food experts, and entrepreneurs.
