Dining At Cambridge

The Black Sheep Restaurant with full bar, named in honor of the Engine 7 firefighters, pays tribute to the history of the building and the self-proclaimed ‘black sheep’ of the Cambridge Fire Department. Found on the street-level of the Kendall Hotel, the restaurant follows the Victorian-era theme with early-American décor and fireman regalia. With warm colors, plenty of natural lighting and delicious smells from the kitchen, the Black Sheep Restaurant will satisfy the senses, and of course, appetites, of guests staying at the hotel or those just popping in for food or a drink.

The Black Sheep Restaurant is currently closed to the public.

The hotel is serving the fireman’s breakfast buffet to hotel guests only from 6:30 am to 10 am weekdays, and 7 am to 10 am on weekends. The private dining room, Engine 7, is available for private dinners for up to 18 guests. For information about reserving our private dining room, please email stay@kendallhotel.com.

Breakfast Buffet

Our Fireman’s breakfast buffet is included with your stay – scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, hard boiled eggs, waffle station, assorted yogurts, hot oatmeal, Muesli, fresh fruit, breakfast tacos, assorted breads, bagels, muffins, Danish, scones, meat, cheeses, arugula, Lavazza coffee and espresso. There is an assortment of accoutrements to complement our vast buffet offerings.

A private meeting and dining room is available for business or social events, or private lunches and dinners. We offer selections for every palate, paired wines, custom printed menus, and of course, warm and welcoming service.
