Kick off the 4th Festivities at the Kendall Hotel

Sail Boston 2017

The Tall Ships are sailing their way to Boston during the Rendez-Vous Tall Ships Regatta! For the second year, MIT is hosting Solve, a live meeting series that cultivates a community to discover, evaluate, and advance technological solutions to global problems. Solve has three pillars – fuel, make, and learn – and this year includes a talk on Expanding Opportunities in the Digital Age. For the first time, Solve will provide the backdrop for the MIT IIT (Inclusive Innovation Competition) awards ceremony that will identify and celebrate organizations that are inventing a more inclusive, productive, and sustainable future for all of us, awarding $1 million in prize money.

September 30 and October 1 and 2, Red Sox games, Fenway Park
The Red Sox can’t seem to lose a game, which is a good thing. They’ll be hosting the Baltimore Orioles in a three-game home stand from September 30 through October 2. Play-off dates haven’t been announced yet, but they will be soon. It’s so much fun to watch baseball when the Sox are on fire!

Labor Day Fireworks Show Over Boston Harbor

Saturday September 5th @ 9pm

Fireworks will be launched from barges anchored off the North End and Seaport will light up the sky over Boston Harbor to celebrate Labor Day Weekend and the beginning of fall. The best viewing locations will be along Christopher Columbus Park and Long Wharf in the North End, the South Boston Waterfront (especially around Fan Pier/Seaport), the Downtown Waterfront, and Piers Park in East Boston
